Our Journey

The Revenue Club was founded in 2017 with the mission to offer expertise on visitor golf sales to golf courses in the UK & Ireland.

The founding Directors previously held management positions in golf courses and the UK online tee time market prior to setting up The Revenue Club. Our work alongside golf clubs allowed us to identify an opportunity to help courses generate additional revenue by operating smarter online with proactive pricing of green fees and digital marketing activity.

It quickly became apparent that we could make a real impact by combining dynamic pricing and online marketing to help golf courses achieve positive growth in a short space of time, and in 2018 the team doubled in size to help grow the company further.

In 2020 we established a customer base in Ireland and also introduced an enhanced service (TRC-E) to become a Certified HubSpot Partner, which allows us to help manage the sales process at golf clubs from initial enquiries to closing sales. The business also invested significantly in REPORTS.GOLF to allow deeper analysis of golf course income and benchmarking, no matter what technology is being used. We are continuing to invest in this to offer more insight into visitor sales at the click of a button.

Fast forward to today, our team of experts has reached 16 with two full time marketeers helping to support the pricing changes and data analysis undertaken by the rest of the team. The company currently operates alongside over 270 venues in the UK and Ireland to ensure they are unleashing their revenue potential.

2017: The Revenue Club launches

The Revenue Club was formed and began to take on its first Partner Clubs, many of which still see growth YoY today, almost eight years later..

2018: Rob Corcoran joins the team

Rob Corcoran joined the team and rapid growth led the recruitment of our Marketing Manager and Account Director to service our clubs better and expand into new areas. Green Fee sales data became the backbone of optimising revenue growth strategy for all partner clubs.

2019: Reports.golf

Reports.Golf was launched, providing Partner Clubs with a valuable insight into all of their revenue streams. Over the years, it would grow to be the largest collection of data of its kind available in the UK.

2020: Covid-19

Covid-19 supercharges golf

As the Covid-19 pandemic struck, more focus was placed on the importance of the online booking process. The customer base increased to 120 clubs and expanded into Scotland and Ireland.

2021: Customer Relationship Management

TRC-E means CRM

Launching a complete CRM service using Hubspot to close the loop on our sales & marketing efforts. We begun offering a more complete service to Partner Clubs who wished to optimise the customer journey from start to finish and drive revenue through membership, group golf and events. 

2022: HubSpot Gold Partner

The Revenue Club achieved HubSpot Gold Partner status, becoming the only Golf Marketing Agency to do so.

2023: A record breaking year (again!)

2023 was a record-breaking year for the golf industry with a 4th consecutive year of growth in casual green fee revenue leading to the highest year of visitor revenue recorded for the average UK & Irish club who work with The Revenue Club.

2024: Highest ever month of green fee sales

August of 2024 proved to be the most lucrative sales month since the August 2020 post Covid boom, as online revenue continues to be the catalyst of growth for clubs across the UK & Irish markets
