Background
In January 2025, as part of a strategy to deliver golf club marketing in Wales, The Revenue Club began working closely with Machynlleth GC to establish an online payment system through Intelligent Golf and strengthen marketing activity through the delivery of the core service with regular email and social campaigns.
Key Achievements
Since the start of 2025, Machynlleth have recorded £11,839 in online revenue, marking a significant milestone for a club of its size. When we first began working together, the visitor database included just 111 contacts — this has now organically grown to over 350 engaged golfers, achieved entirely through consistent communication and online visibility.
We also supported the club in setting up with GolfNow, generating an additional £730 in online revenue this year. Alongside this, fortnightly marketing emails and monthly social media posts have helped maintain strong awareness and drive repeat visits.
In August 2025, the club achieved £4,020 in total revenue, the highest figure ever recorded in a single month — a clear reflection of the growth in both visitor engagement and bookings.
